I cared for Elsie in the early days of her journey when she was effortlessly charming us all on NICU. She had the most beautiful big eyes even as a little premmie - and you could almost tell what she was thinking just from the way she stared at you. ‘Not another feeding tube?’ (Yes Elsie, master of NGT removals!) ‘you’re 5 minutes late for my feed!’ ‘Please don’t change my dirty nappy, I’m really comfy!’ She would always make long shifts a lot brighter and was a joy to care for, she had an aura that made you want to go and check in on her just to put a smile on your face. She made a huge impact on a lot of peoples lives and she will always be remembered and loved X
